World Book Day a day to celebrate authors, illustrators, books and of course, the pleasure of reading! The event is so popular, that UNESCO has designated World Book Day as a worldwide celebration which is marked in over 100 different countries. On the day, children of all ages will get together to participate in events where they can talk about their favourite books, hear from others about the stories they enjoy, and appreciate the joy that reading can bring. Although we will not be able to celebrate as we usually do in school this year, we will be asking everyone to dress up as their favourite book characters on our zoom sessions on Thursday 4th March.
