Outings

Sometimes we take the children on outings to extend the experience offered in the nursery and pre-school.  Small groups of children may visit the local shop, post office, garden centre, museums or may be taken to Stepney City farm, with whom we work in partnership. Twice a year, the whole school goes on an outing e.g. to Hainault Forest in the autumn and to Chalkwell beach in the summer.  Coaches with seat belts are hired, or we travel by train. We hope that all parents will be able to accompany their children on what are always wonderful days out.
We always ensure a safe ratio of adults to children and will only take your child out of school with your permission.  
We ask you to sign a permission slip when your child starts school.
