School Travel Plan

We are part of the national scheme to ensure safe and sustainable travel to school and we produce a yearly action plan to help us achieve this goal.  We encourage all staff and children to walk or cycle to school whenever possible.

We would ask all of you to work with us in supporting this scheme by getting your child into the habit of walking/cycling to nursery each day.  It is healthy, free and it is a great way to have some quality time on the way to nursery talking about all the interesting things you pass each day!

We can usually find a place for the scooters to be kept in school.

In order to keep our children safe we ask that parents do not drive down Head Street. We also ask parents and carers to hold children's hands when entering and exiting the nursery.

There are yellow markings outside the school which mean that cars are not allowed to stop there.  Parking wardens and the police patrol regularly. To ensure safety we ask parents and carers to please hold your child's hand when entering and exiting the nursery.
